SANAD Aid is currently the primary supporter of a refugee camp in Libya, identified in partnership with a local organization. Our support is ongoing and focused on meeting essential needs while helping families live with greater dignity, stability, and hope.

Emergency Medical Care
SANAD Aid established an emergency medical fund to help Sudanese refugees access essential medical care when they cannot receive treatment through public hospitals. The fund helps cover urgent needs including childbirth, medications for sick children, infections, injuries, and other necessary medical treatment when refugees are turned away or unable to access care because of their status.
Essential Care for Women & Children
Every 10 days, SANAD provides milk, diapers, and menstrual pads to families in need. These basic supplies help mothers care for their children and ensure women and girls have access to essential hygiene products with dignity.
Supporting Children Beyond Basic Needs
We sponsor Sudanese children to participate in a karate program, covering their membership and uniforms. The program gives children an opportunity to stay active, build confidence, develop discipline, and experience positive community outside of the difficult circumstances they face.
A Dignified Place to Learn
The camp's school operates in a makeshift tent, where children continue their education despite extremely limited resources. SANAD provided chairs for the classroom, helping create a safer and more dignified environment for children to learn.
Monthly Food Support
Each month, SANAD provides food bags containing essential staples to individuals and families facing severe financial hardship. Recipients include widowed mothers supporting their children through low-paying work, elderly individuals who can no longer work, and people with disabilities who are unable to perform physical labor.
Clean Water Access
Access to water is essential for bathing, washing clothes, and maintaining basic hygiene. SANAD repaired the camp's water well to restore access to water and installed a water filtration system to provide cleaner water for the community. As the number of residents grows, we are working toward installing a larger filtration system to better meet the camp's needs.
